Kitchen Remodeling & Cabinet Installation
We install and replace kitchen cabinets throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding areas — from a single cabinet run to a full kitchen remodeling project, with the finish work handled by the same contractor.
What's Included
Complete kitchen cabinetry, start to finish
Whether you're refreshing one section of cabinets or remodeling the whole kitchen, we handle the cabinet work and the finish work that goes with it.
Cabinet installation & replacement
New kitchen cabinets installed from the layout up, or replacing existing cabinets that are worn, damaged, or ready for an update.
Kitchen islands & peninsula cabinets
Islands and peninsulas built in as part of the cabinet run, with the panels and trim that make them read as one piece with the rest of the kitchen.
Pantry cabinets & built-in storage
Pantry cabinets and built-in storage that use the full height of the space, including the fillers that close the gaps a stock cabinet run leaves behind.
Fillers, side panels & trim
The filler strips, side panels, and crown and base trim that take a cabinet run from installed to finished, so the kitchen looks built for the room.
Toe kicks & door hardware
Toe kicks fitted to the floor line, plus drawer pulls and door hardware installed square and aligned across every run.
Remodel & finish work around it
The drywall, painting, flooring, and related finish work that completes a kitchen remodeling project once the cabinets are set.
Where to Start
Three ways a kitchen project usually begins
Most homeowners arrive knowing something isn't right but not knowing what category their project falls into. Pick the one that sounds closest — we'll sort out the rest at the estimate.
Pricing, Honestly
What actually moves the number
We don't publish a price list, because a kitchen has too many variables for one to mean anything. What we will do is tell you plainly what we're looking at when we put your estimate together.
Every estimate is free, and we won't pressure you toward the larger version of the project.
The five things we price on
- 1How many cabinet boxes, drawers, and doors are involved — and whether they're stock, semi-custom, or fully custom.
- 2Whether the layout is staying as it is or changing, since a layout change pulls in drywall, paint, flooring, and trade coordination.
- 3What's happening with the counters and sink — keeping them, or replacing them as part of the project.
- 4The state of the walls and floor once the old cabinets come out, which nobody knows for certain until they do.
- 5Whether you're supplying the cabinets yourself or having us coordinate them.
Common Questions
What homeowners ask us first
Yes. Plenty of homeowners order their own cabinets from a big-box store or an online supplier, and we install and finish them. It does change how the estimate works, though — we're pricing our labor and the finish work rather than the material, and we'll flag anything in the order that looks short or mismatched before we start rather than discovering it on install day.
A straight cabinet replacement in an average kitchen is usually measured in days on site, not weeks, with a gap in the middle if new counters are being templated and fabricated. Reworking the layout adds time for the drywall, paint, and flooring that goes with it. We give you a sequence and a realistic window before you commit, not after.
We coordinate the countertop template and installation and do the finish work around it. Countertops themselves are fabricated by a stone or solid-surface shop, and we'll tell you plainly which parts of the counter work we're handling and which belong to the fabricator.
Only if you want it to be. A lot of our kitchen work is cabinet installation and its finish work — no walls moved, no plumbing relocated. If you're looking for a full gut remodel with new plumbing, new electrical circuits, and structural changes, we'll say so and point you toward a contractor who does that scope.
Often, yes. A door that won't close, a drawer box that's failed, a section of cabinets damaged by water, a run that needs re-shimming — these are the smaller jobs many larger companies won't take on. We will, and we'll tell you honestly when a repair no longer makes sense and replacement is the better spend.

The Finishing Details
A kitchen that's finished, not just installed
Cabinetry comes down to the details — correct fillers, aligned panels, clean trim, and hardware that opens the way it should. Those are the things you notice every day, and they're what separate a cabinet installation from a finished kitchen.
- Clear scope and pricing before any work begins.
- One point of contact from your first call to the final walkthrough.
- We protect your home and clean up after the work is done.
Our Cabinets
Our standard cabinets are sourced through an authorized GHI distributor
Our standard cabinet lines are GHI Cabinetry products sourced through an authorized GHI distributor. This gives our customers access to genuine GHI cabinetry, current door styles and finishes, and the manufacturer's applicable cabinet warranty.
Working through an authorized distribution channel also gives us a reliable source for ordering cabinets, coordinating delivery, and obtaining matching components or replacement pieces when needed. A&R handles the process from cabinet selection and ordering through delivery coordination and installation, giving you one point of contact throughout the project.
Already have your cabinets? We're happy to install customer-supplied cabinetry as well — just let us know during your estimate.
Related Work
Other interior work we handle
Kitchen projects rarely stay in the kitchen. We handle the related interior work too, so you're not coordinating separate contractors.
